Communication system

By road-

After passing Chiringa Bazar on the Dhaka-Chittagong-Cox's Bazar National Highway (97 km from Chittagong) from Dhaka, turn right to the Upazila Parishad. Within about 2 kilometers from the highway.

 

From Cox's Bazar to Dhaka-Chittagong-Cox's Bazar National Highway to Chiringa Bus Station is 72 km.

 

 

By river / sea

Goods can be transported by sea from Chittagong or Cox's Bazar to Chakaria Upazila via Badarkhali using Maheshkhali Channel. However, no such direct transport activities are underway.

 

Note: There is no communication with Chakaria Upazila Parishad by rail.
